Privacy
Privacy, in plain English
This site collects as little as it can. Here is all of it.
The instant score
When you score a site, we read that site's public homepage, robots.txt and sitemap, and Google's PageSpeed Insights measures its speed on Google's servers (Google's privacy policy). We don't save the result.
The full audit request
If you ask for the full audit, we get the name, business name, email and phone you type, the website you scored, its score summary, and how you found us if you came from our business card or a tagged link. It is used for one thing: sending you the audit and following up about it. We don't sell it, share it or add you to a mailing list.
Form submissions are stored by our website host, Netlify (Netlify's privacy policy).
The No. XIII console and your Google account
The businesses we build sites for run them with the No. XIII console. When a business connects its own Google account on the console's Google & SEO page, the console can, for that business only:
- read its search numbers, its sitemap status and whether its pages are on Google, from Google Search Console
- send its sitemap to Google
- read its reviews and star rating, post the replies the business writes, and publish the posts it schedules, on its Google Business Profile
It never changes the business's Google settings. The sign-in is kept encrypted on that business's own website server, and it is used only to show the business its own numbers and to do what the business asks. We don't sell it, share it or use it for advertising. The business can disconnect at any time on the same page, or remove the console's access in its Google account (Third-party connections).
The console's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
The console and Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
A business can connect its Facebook Page, its Instagram professional account and its TikTok account on the console's Posts page. Each one is connected on that network's own sign-in page by approving the No. XIII Console app, so the console never sees a password. Then, for that business only, the console can:
- on Facebook: list the Pages the person who signed in manages, so the business's own Page can be picked, publish the posts the business writes or schedules on that Page, and read the like and comment counts on those posts
- on Instagram: publish the photos, videos and captions the business schedules on the Instagram account linked to its Facebook Page, and read the like and comment counts on those posts
- on TikTok: read the account's name and the posting choices TikTok gives it, and publish the videos and photos the business picks, with the caption and audience the business picks
We keep only what posting needs: the account's name and ID, the sign-in itself, and each post's link and like and comment counts. The sign-in is kept encrypted in that business's own console database. The console doesn't read private messages, follower lists or anyone's personal profile, and it only publishes what the business wrote or approved. We don't sell this information, share it or use it for advertising.
Removing Facebook, Instagram or TikTok data
A business can take back the console's access at any time, in any of these ways:
- On the console's Posts page, tap Disconnect. The saved sign-in is deleted right away.
- On the network: remove No. XIII Console from the apps connected to the account (Business integrations on Facebook, Apps and websites on Instagram, app permissions on TikTok). The saved sign-in stops working at once.
- Email Hello@no-xiii.com and ask us to delete everything the console holds for your accounts. We delete it and confirm by email within 30 days.
Posts that were already published stay on the network until the business deletes them there.
